Who would have thought that one simple online conversation would lead us to the beautiful love story we are living today?

From the very beginning, we discovered how much we simply enjoyed being together. We shared a love for exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and creating memories along the way. It never mattered where we were or what we were doingbeing together always made it special. Before long, our adventures became more than just fun experiences; they became the foundation for the life we were building together.

When Julia’s birthday came around, we decided to celebrate with a trip to New York City. Julia was especially excited to finally experience Hell’s Kitchen and see the Alicia Keys Broadway show she had been wanting to see. Over the next few days, we explored the boroughs, wandered through the city, discovered new places, enjoyed incredible food, and created memories we knew we would treasure forever. Then came August 23rd, Julia’s birthday and our final evening in New York. Aaron made reservations at Queensyard, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Manhattan skyline. As we sat together taking in the breathtaking view, Julia smiled and said, “This has been the best trip ever.”

Aaron looked at her and asked, “Do you think so?” Without hesitation, she replied, “I know so.” With a smile, Aaron reached into his pocket and said, “Well, this will make it even better.” He pulled out a small ring box, opened it, looked into Julia’s eyes, and asked the question that would change their lives forever: “Will you marry me?”

Julia immediately burst into tears. Although only a few seconds passed, it felt like forever before she could finally say, “Yes!”

As Aaron slipped the ring onto her finger, the restaurant suddenly filled with smiles, applause, and heartfelt congratulations from guests who had witnessed their special moment. Still overwhelmed with emotion, Julia immediately called her mom from the restaurant. “Mom! I just got engaged!” They both screamed with excitement over the phone, and Julia couldn’t stop crying. It was a moment they will never forget, a moment they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

That birthday will always be Julia’s favorite, not only because Aaron asked her to be his wife, but because it perfectly reflected who they are as a couple: filled with adventure, laughter, love, unforgettable memories, and excitement for whatever comes next. New York City will forever hold a special place in their hearts because it was there, beneath the Manhattan skyline, that Aaron asked Julia to spend forever with him. Every adventure they’ve shared, every memory they’ve created, and every step they’ve taken together has led them to this beautiful moment. Now, they are grateful to begin their next chapter surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends. And they can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful beginning with you!
